Why acupuncture?

For RELIEF from pain and other symptoms...

to speed REPAIR from injuries, surgery or dysfunction...

and for PREVENTION...

a Chinese proverb says it best, "It's unwise to wait until you're thirsty to start digging a well."

Who is it for?

People like you who want to function better and achieve peak performance using safe, natural approaches. Anyone struggling with pain, injury, or chronic health challenges who wants to minimize the need for medications. Folks who've tried conventional medicine and know there's got to be more help out there.

There is sufficient evidence of acupuncture’s value to expand its use into conventional medicine.

Why did you become an acupuncturist?

"As a young child in Bucharest, Romania it was common to see people choose natural medicines and therapies as a first line of treatment for all sorts of ailments. Of course, they went to the doctor for check-ups and for major health concerns. Here in the US (my home since the age of 8), it seems like just the opposite. Pharmaceuticals promise to fix everything, and many people think of natural therapies as a last resort.
The body is made to heal if we give it what it needs, so you need to get curious about what those needs are. It seems like common sense that we ought to set the stage for good health with good lifestyle habits, address imbalances with methods that enhance our natural healing functions, and use drugs and surgery only when necessary. When I learned about Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine and realized it took this view, I was hooked! It just resonated with me, and I knew I'd found my life's work."
