About Anca

Anca Marinescu, L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., born in Bucharest, Romania, came to the U.S. at the age of eight. Her grandmother's knowledge of natural healing methods sparked an interest that eventually led to the study of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Anca earned her Master's Degree at one of the most renowned schools in the U.S., Tri-State College of Acupuncture, where she received extensive training under master practitioners of several acupuncture styles. She had found her life's work. After graduating with honors, Anca completed an internship at the International Acupuncture Training Institute in Beijing, China with rounds in two hospital acupuncture clinics. She was later selected by the Chinese Medical Science Foundation and St. Vincent's hospital for an Acupuncture Fellowship in an integrative program serving the Rehabilitation and Internal Medicine Departments. She is proud to promote the integration of acupuncture into the American healthcare landscape while continuing to study natural healing modalities.

Anca Marinescu is licensed in New York State and is Board Certified, having earned Diplomate of Acupuncture status from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
